Ordering Christmas cards is probably not one of the most difficult things you will do. However, there are many decisions to be made. The Gallery Collection has hundreds of gorgeous designs to choose from. Then, there are many Christmas card sayings to choose from.

Greeting Cards Highlight – Photo Mount Cards
I absolutely love what Gallery Collection is doing with photos; how do they come up with all of these ideas? Photo mount cards are actual photos mounted on card stock with the photo framed in foil. I am totally going this way for my holiday cards this year but I have to narrow down from these:
Holiday Hearth (86GCW) – This photo card is so cozy looking it is a definite contender for this year’s card. Love the black stock; very dramatic.
Miami Skyline (76CCW) – I run a business out of Miami so this would be great to send because the sky really does look like this. Wonder if it would make my Northern client jealous! I could use it as a Thank You card instead.
Glowing Holiday Pines (73MCS) – Ideal is the thought that comes to mind when I look at this card, talk about Silent Night, you can almost hear the hush of the snowflakes falling.
Autumn Vignette (73SCX) – Maybe a Thanksgiving photo card instead of a Holiday photo card? A Thanksgiving card will hang much longer than a Christmas card and will be the first to arrive!
Holiday Penguin Trio (76SCX) – I have never done cute before so maybe this year I can break the ice with these adorable penguins.
Well I narrowed down to four holiday and I definitely want the Miami scene for an All Occasion card, I just won’t put a greeting on the inside so I can use for any thing I like. I want to hurry and make my decision while I can still get great discounts!
Warrior Canine Connection – Gallery Collection Charitable Donations
The Gallery Collection is thrilled to have the opportunity to make a donation to Warrior Canine Connection. We created and donated 500 Thank You cards to be used to give thanks to Veterans for everything they have done for our country. Warrior Canine Connection is a pioneering organization that utilizes clinically based Canine Connection Therapy to help wounded Warriors reconnect with life, their families, their communities, and each other. By interacting with the dogs as they move from puppyhood to training to adult service dogs, Warrior Trainers benefit from a physiological and psychological animal-human connection. As a result of their efforts, Veterans with disabilities receive the finest in trained service dogs.

I love autumn and the Thanksgiving holiday. It’s my favorite time of the year, the crisp air and the colorful turning of the leaves, the pumpkins and gourds – all so bright. What better way for us to celebrate this time of the year then by sending out a beautiful card to commemorate this All-American holiday! It was hard, but I have selected 5 of my favorite Thanksgiving cards that I feel best represent this time of year.

Some of Our Favorite Company Christmas Party Ideas
Ugly Sweater Parties. Secret Santa. Grab Bags. Non-Denominational Holiday Brunches. After Hours Eggnog-and-Mulled-Wine Shindigs.
At least one of those things is made-up, but the others are some of my favorite company Christmas party ideas.
Well, I say favorite but I might be fibbing just a little bit. I’m not a big believer in mandatory gift-giving in one’s place of business, unless the spending limit is hilariously low and people know to have fun with it (i.e., everybody buys a joke gift from the dollar store). Because, hey, we’ve all been in that awkward situation where there’s an office Secret Santa and it’s “To Be Taken Seriously”, but you don’t know the person you got all that well and everybody walks away disappointed.
I feel it’s best to avoid that situation altogether.
My absolute favorite kind of office party is one where there’s decent food (catered or informal pot luck, it doesn’t matter), but not a lot of formal structure. It’s supposed to be a party; let the people unwind and make their own fun. By all means, encourage silly outfits. But don’t go so far as to make anything Mandatory™.
Really, the best Christmas party idea anyone can give you is to not over-plan your company party. Just toss up some decorations, put out some food, and see what happens.

Greeting Card Highlight – Season’s Greetings Cards
Whenever I’m looking for holiday cards by the Gallery Collection, I look exclusively at the Season’s Greetings cards. The site is easy to navigate because the categories are organized in such a way that all I want to see is done is one click. As a business owner I want to send my clients a non-denominational sentiment and Season’s Greetings fits the bill, but narrowing down my choice is getting harder every year since the beautiful designs keeps growing. Here are some of my favorites.
Snowy Forest Greetings – I really like this card because the illustration is so serene but I wonder if my clients have seen too much snow this year. (Design H1ZCS)
Currier and Ives Four Seasons Montage – Great idea! A card depicting the four seasons by talented artists from Currier and Ives. (Design 73NCW)
Season’s Greetings Red Berries – Love this design! It would fit in with my client demographic, really stylish and will stand out among any other greeting cards. (Design 864CX)
Golden Snowfall Die-Cut Holiday Card – This die cut card would be a good choice because my company name will show through the front of the card and the design is really stunning. (Design 878CX)

Christmas Party Invitations for Your Office Holiday Party
Our company has had an annual Holiday Party for the past 23 years. We used to spend a bundle on our company’s Christmas party invitations. The last two years we finally wised up and ordered them from The Gallery Collection and we’ve saved money, gotten a terrific reaction and received tons of compliments.
There’s a great selection to choose from and it’s so simple to customize them. Twice now, we’ve chosen the flat card format with a matching design on the back. They’ve been excellent quality which is important to us. Another good feature is that you can order as few as 25 invites. We usually need between 40 and 60 and it’s convenient that there are many quantities available to order.
There are over two dozen designs of Holiday Party Invitations to choose from – from simple to fancy – and there’s plenty of room to add all the particulars about the event. I’ve really enjoyed trying out the different fonts and colors that are available on various designs. (The secret is to start early so you have plenty of time to have fun experimenting!)
Ordering online has been a cinch and the website is user friendly – even if you don’t have much experience in this area. When I did have a question, I just called and talked to a rep who was very knowledgeable and most helpful. The turn-around time was quick and we received our invitations in plenty of time to address and send them out.
Like I said – we’ve had rave reviews. The invitation is the beginning of the party – so make it a good one!
Why Thanksgiving is the Best Holiday to Celebrate in the Office
Thanksgiving is a wonderful holiday to celebrate in the office because it is a feel good holiday. Thanksgiving is all about being grateful for what we have, and of course a delicious feast. There are no worries about presents!
A good way to celebrate would be to have a Pot Luck Lunch. Each employee could bring in a recipe special to his or her family tradition. Sharing stories and traditions is a great way to bring the employees closer and boost morale.
I would also suggest a recipe exchange. There are so many variations of stuffing, dressing and side dishes that it would be interesting to share with each other. I know I love to share recipes and try new ones all the time. Thanksgiving is my holiday; I try to mix it up a little each year. Trying new recipes is a great conversation piece. Also, I know my guests love to try new things and look forward to a new dish. Wouldn’t it be fun to compile these recipes from your coworkers into a cookbook? I’m sure some one would volunteer to put it together, The Best Recipe Cookbook.
Another reason Thanksgiving is the best holiday to celebrate in the office would be to help the needy. Collecting non-perishable goods for a local food pantry or shelter is such a great cause. This year bring the spirit of thanks and maybe it will carry forward into the New Year!
