Saving That Trip to the Store for Assorted Birthday Cards

I work as an assistant to the Regional Manager of a large retail chain. I’ve been doing this job for a number of years and part of that job is to make a trip to the local card store to pick up a few birthday cards for my boss to send to employees. While this is not a particularly big deal, it just got to the point where I said “There has to be an easier way”. I started my search on the internet and found a card company called The Gallery Collection that sold an assortment box of birthday cards. The box contained 35 assorted birthday cards and 38 envelopes, with several different designs and greetings. To make a long story short, I ordered, I liked, I used!

Since I was on a roll, I pointed out to my boss that he could place an order for business birthday cards that could be sent to clients. He didn’t need much persuasion. I called and requested a few samples to choose from and he was definitely impressed with the quality of the cards. Once the decision was made about the design and a greeting was selected, I went online and placed the order. The process was so simple that again, I ordered, he liked, he used!

  1. I purchased the assortment box of birthday cards also. I always thought that cards like these would be too expensive but when I compared the price to the cards I was picking up at the local drug store, I realized I was wrong. Not only did I save money, I also saved my time.

  2. Not only do they have assorted boxes of birthday cards but you can get assorted boxes of Thank you cards, sympathy cards and even Christmas cards. Having the cards on hand makes life so much easier and you don’t ever have to be caught without the perfect card for the occasion.

  3. I love these cards. The quality of paper is wonderful and everyone I send one to has loved these cards. I have all decided to send birthday cards to my clients. This has gone over very well. They tell me they like that I have taken a personal approach when most companies seem indifferent. I recommend these whether the assortment boxes or the individual ones because they are lovely.

  4. There really is no comparison. The $4 cards at the store are boring or full of bad puns or overly mushy sentiments. If anyone is worried that cards from The Gallery Collection aren’t in their budget, they should sit down with all those drugstore receipts and tally them up. When I did it, I almost fell out of my chair!
