What To Look For When Buying The Company Christmas Cards

Were you just asked to purchase holiday cards for your company? Whether you are a seasoned pro or you found this page from frantically googling for guidelines . . . Here are some ideas to get you moving.

Firstly, it’s important to be aware of you audience. Think of who will be receiving these cards. Are they religious? Mixed religions? Non-affiliated? What’s their age? Answering questions like these should help significantly condense your options, whether you’ve narrowed it down into a category of cards or have decided to get more generic (Holiday, Seasons Greetings, or Winter scene) cards.

Next, think about the intent of your company Holiday card—is it meant to gain customers or show thanks for their business? Then keep it polished, maybe use foil to create an elegant, sincere card. Are these festive cards for your employees or a close boss? These should boost morale, show appreciation, and perhaps be funny or casual.

Think of your budget—if you need hundreds of cards, buying in bulk could save you money. Also if you choose The Gallery Collection, you even have the freedom of customization. You quickly and easily create a holiday card, choosing from hundreds of card designs, dozens of greetings, or write your own!
No more excuses, it’s time to select your perfect company christmas cards!

Ways To Truly Make A Business Christmas Card Your Own

When sending a business Christmas card this holiday season make sure to take the time to think it through.  There are always businesses that rush their order and do not take the time to understand how much this card can help elevate their brand.

People tend to hang up Christmas cards in the office or at the very least leave them on their desks for a while.  Get your company name out in front if you can.  It is even better if you can possibly get a picture of your team or your company logo on the front.

There is always the choice of trying out a calendar card.  These cards fold out and are useful because they could conceivably last all year long on a cubicle wall.  The key is getting your brand on there to show all year long as well.

Now on to the inside of your card where it is very important not to offend your clients.  I tend to keep it very simple and very generic.  I do not mention Christmas; I will keep it generic and say “Happy Holidays” so that it does not have a religious tone.  I also tend to make sure we have signatures on the card to give it that personal touch.  Keep these things in mind and you will do just fine this holiday season.

What Should Go On My Business Christmas Card Envelopes?

You are sending out Christmas cards on behalf of your business this year. You’ve thought about everything except how in the world you are supposed to do the envelopes! Of course you know the basics: Recipient address, proper postage, and a return address?

Although it is not necessary to include a return address, should you? Will your recipient even open it because they might think it’s junk mail? While there is the advantage of curiosity, why not impress recipients as opposed to trick? Using your name will reinforce your company with your well wishes of Christmas cheer. Why wouldn’t you want that good press?

You can place your return address on the front or on the back flap of the envelope. Either is correct. Personally, I like the return address to be on the back flap in foil. It is an elegant statement that the recipient will see just before seeing your Christmas card. Everything sets the tone of your attempt to contact the customer, so do not overlook anything.

Consider using your logo with your company name for a sophisticated look. This little touch will make you stand out in a good way. It is impressive to use your company logo printed as opposed to on a stamp or a sticker. This shows forethought and care. Finishing touches? Consider sealing your envelope with a gold or silver seal. Stand out this holiday season by mailing your cards out early!

Why I Send Calendar Cards Every Year

I’ll let you in on a little secret. Sending calendar cards to everyone on my list instead of a regular old holiday card was one of those ‘why didn’t I do this sooner’ decisions. Let me tell you why I send calendar cards every year.

It started when I found a card I really loved on The Gallery Collection. I didn’t even notice it was a calendar card until I clicked on it and saw that it opened out to reveal a full 12 month calendar plus room for my company name, address, message – whatever I wanted to write. I thought this was the best thing I’d ever seen – a card and gift rolled into one.

The design was great, the months clear and easy to read – it was big enough to be useful but wouldn’t take up too much space – I was seriously wowed.

Now when I send my holiday cards I know they aren’t going to end up lost in a pile of others. And I know that I’m sending a holiday greeting that will last – literally – all year long, my company name on someone’s wall or desk for the next 12 months.

Calendar cards also show that the giver wanted to provide something of value – not just another card for the recycle bin but something as useful as it is beautiful.

And I love that I can have my phone number, web address and even my email address printed right on it – all of my contact info just a glance away all year long. You can’t beat that kind of advertising.

They have so many great calendar card designs to choose from, all the same high quality and value I’ve come to expect from The Gallery Collection. And for the same cost as a regular card I can truly send a gift that keeps on giving.

Personal Holiday Messages Matter

Every year around, millions of people around the world gear up for the Holiday Season, which comes at the tail end of November. It’s the season of joy, happiness and love! The snow falls, hot chocolate is poured, and family gathers together to celebrate the magic of the season, and hope that their wishes for a happy new year come true!

Businesses will gear up for the holiday season by being prepared for one of the busiest times of the year, as individuals will prepare to shop until they drop, and decorate the house! What lots of businesses and individuals also do, is send Christmas cards to their clients, employees, friends or family members! There are plenty of companies that sell greeting cards, but none like the Gallery Collection.

The Gallery Collection has a wide variety of beautifully designed Holiday greeting cards! You have the option of choosing a card design, choosing a standard greeting for the inside of the card, but you are also allowed to write your own personal message on the inside of the card as well. Sending personal Holiday messages inside of your greeting card, whether it be to send to clients, customers, partners, friends or family; personalizes the card in a way that touches whoever receives it.

It is important for the recipient of the card to feel good when they receive it, because nine times out of ten, you are trying to make a kind impression for the holidays. Putting a personal note or message inside of the card makes the card you are sending much better, and much more personal!

Tips For Sending Your Holiday Cards

Sending out holiday cards is like sending a, “Hello, we care about you!”  Your customers, employees, family and friends will appreciate your thoughtfulness.  Who doesn’t get excited when they see an envelope in their mailbox?

My first tip is to select a greeting that fits your personality.  Sending wishes for a Merry Christmas has been a longtime debate as you do not want to offend anyone.  I say still send the spirit of the holidays but keep it more generic in the formal imprint such as Happy Holidays or Seasons Greetings.  Then you can make it personal but adding a handwritten Merry Christmas or other personal note depending on the recipient.

The next tip I will give you is to send your holiday cards on time.  Do not be that person that mails out their Christmas cards on December 26.  Then what started out as a warm gesture, turns into what will seem like a last minute token.  If for some reason you fell behind, skip the Christmas card and send a Happy New Year card.  These can be sent as late as January 15.

Lastly, be sure to put your return address on the envelope.  This is helpful in many ways.  What if the recipient wants to return the gesture but doesn’t have your address?  If someone is no longer at the address you mailed their holiday card to or you made an error in addressing the envelope and you added your return address, you will get the card back and resend it to the correct address. Have a Happy Holiday!

It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas!

Many debate about when the Holiday Season really starts because advertisements and products start showing up in stores during the second half of the year. The first big one is Christmas In July which has become a popular marketing technique for retail stores. Once September rolls around many Christmas and Holiday themed things start popping up in the stores along with all of the Halloween items. You may even see a holiday commercial or two on TV. After Halloween most people are ready to start enjoying the Christmas songs and start decorating.

Many families have a tradition of decorating their houses during the upcoming week of Thanksgiving.  This is usually the time where you see most towns and storefronts go all out with decorations, lights and displays if they haven’t done so already. The Christmas tree lot in my town sets up shop and there is a Holiday festival during the week of Thanksgiving so that is the biggest sign to me that the holidays are here.  The Christmas cards and products fill the shelves in the stores. The cold weather starts setting in and the temperatures get low enough for a first snow. The radio starts playing Christmas songs and the fireplaces are burning.  That is when it begins to look a lot like Christmas!

3 Reasons To Purchase Custom Photo Mount Cards

The Gallery Collection offers a variety of greeting cards and greeting card styles. From the die-cut greeting card all the way to the editable text greeting card, they have every option available. One of the newest card styles is the custom photo mount card. These cards are like a “Create Your Own” card because you can upload any photo you’d like and The Gallery Collection will print it and paste it onto your greeting card! Here are three ways you can use a custom photo mount card next time around.

  • Show your product: If you are a business owner who provides a specific product to your customers, a custom photo mount card can help advertise your product! Upload a photo of the product, in good lighting of course, and add your company name to the photo. On the inside of the card you could provide the location of your business or any further information.
  • Show your team: Your clients and customers would probably love to know the faces behind the production. Show them your business team! Customers like to associate names and voices with actual faces. It’ll make them feel more connected to your business.
  • Show your logo: Get your customers familiar with your logo. More than half the population is visual learners. Once they see your logo and associate it with the services you provide, they will come to you whenever they need that service.

Calendar Cards: Why You Should Send Them This Holiday Season

I am sure you have been sending holiday cards for years, but I have an alternative that will make you stand out from the crowd.   This year consider about sending out Calendar Cards

You are giving yourself year round exposure by sending a calendar card customized with your logo and/or your company information.   The recipients of these calendars will display them from January right through till the end of year leaving them with a constant reminder that you are there when they need you.

Another reason to send a calendar card is there functionality.  Your customer will be able to look up dates to easily as their calendar is hanging right in front of them.  They are the perfect size to keep in your purse or briefcase so you always have a calendar on hand.

My last reason to send calendar cards is to create and build customer loyalty.  Your customer will no longer have to run to the yellow pages or the internet to find someone to suit their needs.  Your company name will be hanging right there in front of them.

This year, mail calendar cards to your recipients to reap the rewards.
