Yes those assortment boxes I order from the Gallery Collection is a life saver. Someone would come over the house and I would here someone else wish them a Happy Birthday. Then I would run into my bedroom and find one those sparkling birthday cards, sign it, and give it to the person. It always catches them off guard (what a pleasant surprise).

I agree, why wait until crunch time to order cards at higher prices. Taking advantage of great sale prices is always a good thing.

While I agree with the premise of ordering cards early, I think ordering Christmas cards in February is a tad too early! Obviously, Valentines day should be ordered in January, nothing can spoil a Valentines day like a late card or present!

So true, Carver! There is nothing like holding a Birthday or Thank You card in your hand, with a personal handwritten note inside. Getting simple messages from Facebook is nice, however having a physical card in your hand allows you to proudly display them on your desk at home or at the office afterwards!

I totally agree with Felicity’s point. I have been with my current company for 11 years, and one thing that stands out to me is how I received a welcome card on my first day, I receive a Birthday card the week of my special day, and I received an Anniversary card on my past major milestone dates. It really makes you feel appreciated to know the executives take the time to send a card while they are all busy with their day-to-day responsibilities.

I feel the same, giving and receiving a thank you card can make a big difference from such a small gesture. I remember buying my son an IPOD Touch for his birthday, two days later I received a hand drawn card from saying I love you Daddy, I melted, my heart well up with so much love for that boy. Yes, show of appreciation makes a big difference to me.

I agree, giving an actual Thank You card to show appreciation is so much more special to anyone then sending a “Thank U on facebook or twitter.

I agree, attitude is important and the more positive the better. When I come to work I adopt the attitude that this is my company and I’m part owner. Here’s a noteworthy saying regardless to whom you work for: Whatever you do, be the best you can be, whether a janitor or a CEO.
