Create-A-Greeting-Card Scholarship Look Back Series – 2008 Finalist Highlight

by Michael L. on September 13, 2013

Welcome back to another installment of the Create-A-Greeting-Card Scholarship Contest Look Back series. As we have done for the other contest entries, we always like to draw attention to the finalists.

Every year we get thousands upon thousands of amazing submissions and even through there is only one winner, the finalists deserve to receive as much attention as possible as well. In today’s entry, we wanted to show off a couple of submissions form our finalists which we particularly liked. You can view all of the finalists in the 2008 Scholarship Finalists Gallery. Also, don’t forget to let us know which of the below designs is your favorite in the poll right underneath the gallery.

I’m in awe of all of these talented students. I wish they could all get scholarships. I would have a hard time narrowing it down to one winner. I chose the Zebra Collage above as my favorite because I love anything animal.

I’m so envious of people who are so creative! The chickadees on the Seasons Greetings Birds just melt my heart, I would totally send that design out as a Christmas card! By the way, that’s a really decent scholarship contest you run. I told my nephew who’s a senior in high school about it.

Beautiful Cards! It’s a shame they couldn’t all be winners, although I think it’s great you acknowledged them.

I love the idea behind this scholarship contest! It’s so great to see how many young students are so creative. I wish I knew about this contest when I was younger, I would have loved to create a greeting card! :)

These artists sure know how to express themselves. I’m sure it was difficult to pick just one, but they are obvious all winners!

It’s so great to see a company that is actually giving back to the community! I love the idea of this scholarship program, especially since it encourages students interested in arts to pursue their passion.

What a wonderful way to highlight young artists! Your company is providing a great outlet for students to express themselves and their talents!

With the cost of education so high now a days this is an excellent opportunity for a student. It gives them a creative option to get money for school.

I totally agree with April. The cost of education is extremely high. This is a great option.
