The Gallery Collection's 3rd Annual Create-A-Christmas Card Scholarship Contest

Are you a student who has a knack for photography? Do you have an interest in graphic design or fine arts? Perhaps you are handy with a paintbrush or a sketch pad. Does the opportunity to win a $10,000 scholarship by designing a Christmas greeting card sound like a great opportunity? If so, then you've come to the right place!

For the past few years, The Gallery Collection has given high school and college students the unique opportunity to design a greeting card for the chance to win a cash award and have their design sold in our product line. Since the first annual Create-A-Greeting Card Scholarship contest in 2007, we've received thousands of submissions from students hoping for help in paying for their education. The Christmas cards that we've seen range from photographs of wintry scenes to illustrations of Christmas trees and snowmen; from drawings of Santa to sketches of poinsettias.

If you'd like to enter our Create-A-Christmas-Card Scholarship Contest, it's easy: submit an original piece of artwork, a graphics file, or a photograph for the face of the Christmas holiday card. Designing the inside of the card is not necessary. Optionally, you may include text such as "Merry Christmas" in your design. You don't even have to keep your design Christmas-themed! Design a birthday card, holiday card, or other type of greeting card – whatever your fancy! Please remember that we will only accept one entry per person, regardless of the type of design created.

The winner will receive a scholarship and the unique honor of having their design added to our line, but this year, we're adding something new to the contest: the winner's school will receive a $1,000 prize!
