The Gallery Collection's Write-A-Greeting Card Scholarship Contest

Did you ever think that writing a message to the President of the United States inside of a greeting card could result in a summer trip to the Caribbean? The Gallery Collection is thrilled to offer environmentally-conscious high school students an amazing opportunity to do just that!

The applicant who writes the most well-written, creative, and effective message will win an experience of a lifetime, courtesy of SailCaribbean.com. The winner will take part in Sail Caribbean's ultimate hands-on Foxtrot Program, participating in marine preservation, scuba diving, sailing, water sports, and ocean exploration throughout the British Virgin Islands.

Our Write-A-Greeting-Card Scholarship Contest was created in part due to a commonly-held belief in the benefits of using renewable energy.

Exploring the various ways we can preserve our planet's resources will aid current and future generations. The Gallery Collection uses ecologically sound production methods that make our line of greeting cards environmentally friendly.

Our Write-A-Greeting Card Scholarship Contest allows us to reach out to even more of them, encouraging their ideas and promoting education, which is more important now than ever before.

The Write-A-Greeting Card Scholarship is easy to enter: choose one of nine images on the entry page for the face of your greeting card, and then write a message to President Obama about environmental and renewable energy issues. Your message should not be longer than 250 words, and you can incorporate ideas about why we should use renewable energy, why we need to recycle more of our precious resources, or another environmental issue about which you have strong beliefs.

What makes this contest even more exciting is the fact that the top one hundred entries will be sent to President Barack Obama! At The Gallery Collection, we realize that greeting cards are a powerful tool enabling us to speak to each recipient with a carefully crafted idea. This contest takes a time-honored communication medium to the next level.
