Company Christmas Cards and Truffles for our Deli Customers

Christmastime is such a fun time of year for my husband and me.  We own a small deli in our town and even though every day is a good day with our customers, Christmas brings out the best in them.  We purchased cocoa covered truffles and handed them out to our customers during the holiday season.  One of our customers, I will call her “Jodi”, was so touched by this that the next day she came in and handed us a box filled with company Christmas cards.

When we opened them, we couldn’t believe how beautiful these cards were.  The envelopes had a strip on the back flap that you peel off and press down and the envelopes are sealed.  The cards are printed with warm and friendly sentiments.  You could feel the quality of the cards just by holding them, and the designs on the front of the cards were exquisite.

There were other customers in the store at the time and they couldn’t help but notice the cards.  They wanted to know how they could purchase these cards because they loved the way these cards were presented.  “Jodi” suggested that she would ask her employer if she could bring in some of their business cards to display on our counter and we were more than happy to oblige.  Within a week these cards were gone!

A few days before Christmas, one of our customers came in and mentioned that he heard about these wonderful cards that were given to us.  He wanted to know if he could see one of the cards, but unfortunately we had mailed them all.  He was disappointed, but we told him not to worry because he would get the chance to see at least one of the holiday cards when he opens his mail!

Christmas Cards For Business That Are Both Stunning and Recycled

As I was looking for Christmas cards for business to send to our customers and associates this year, I came across a stunning card titled “Season’s Greetings Red Berries” from the Gallery Collection.  This card features a unique interpretation of gold foil winter branches gracefully depicted on the front of the card and adorned with bright red berries set against a dark black background.  An elegantly scripted “Season’s Greetings” is showcased on the front of the card and is suitable for any holiday situation.  The card is both sophisticated and dazzling and the effect will surely convey our best holiday wishes to our customers and business associates in style.  To me, this card stands out amongst a myriad of Christmas cards.

Another factor that contributed to my card selection was that “Season’s Greeting Red Berries” are recycled paper Christmas cards.  The black paper stock is made from 30% post consumer waste and is manufactured in an emissions-free mill powered by wind-generated, renewable energy.  Being environmentally friendly is important to me and this was just another added bonus that contributed to my card selection.

When I received my order and inspected my cards, I was even more impressed with my card choice.  The card stock was thick and slightly textured and the foils were brilliant and rich in color.  The card was embossed which added to the high quality feel of the card.  My greeting choice and company name were artfully reproduced on the inside of the card.  I was so happy with my card selection that I placed another order for this card so that I can send out for my very own personal Christmas cards.  Whether I send this card to customers and business associates or friends and relatives, this stunning card design coupled with its environmentally friendly nature will surely make a statement.

The Perfect Corporate Holiday Cards

I love to receive corporate holiday cards. It seems lately that businesses have really put some effort into sending cards to clients and customers. I have received some very lovely cards with some of the most beautiful foil art on the front. And the sentiments are actually more personable than they used to be. I just received one the other day, and I had to place it on my bulletin board for everyone to see.

It was nice to be remembered in such a sweet way. I hope to get more company holiday cards from other businesses that are just as nice. I am actually looking forward to opening all of my cards this year, and maybe I’ll even have the opportunity to send some of my own!

Custom Christmas Cards – Good For Business, Good For Friends

Custom Christmas cards are a great way to truly wish others a happy holiday season or a Merry Christmas. We’ve all been to the stores and card shops looking for cards that will be right to send out to others, but the greetings inside are often so generic as to take away from the well-wishing. Customizing the card adds that touch that shares the holiday warmth without the necessity of settling with “the thought that counts.”

In the wealth of ways that we interact with others – be it co-workers, co-members of organizations, or neighbors – personalized holiday cards allow the flexibility to express ourselves in ways that generic cards cannot. It’s the expression of one’s self that comes through to the recipient of customized cards.

I just recently received such a card from an employer. It was a lovely card on a high quality dark stock paper. As would be expected from a company that has diverse employees, they sent corporate holiday cards without any sectarian words or design. The greeting and signatures were what made it so personal for me. It was a simple note that brought to the fore my importance as an individual to the company, having the titles and signatures of the executives.

I think the finest card that one can give or receive is one that has been custom made to make an accurate expression of the value of another.

What Your Christmas Cards Say About You

November is an exciting time of the year. There’s Thanksgiving, a time we gather with our families and stop for a moment to give thanks for the smallest blessings in our lives. That’s what I do anyway–it gives me perspective. But it’s also the time when I begin to think about what kind of Christmas cards I want to order.

You see, I have a thing about greeting cards. I know, many say it’s just a card and who really cares what it looks like or what it says; it’s the thought that counts. That is true. But how about the card that arrives year after year with an incorrect last name, or the one with the wrong apartment number and no zip code, which then causes it to arrive days after the holidays? That can certainly make you look like no effort was made at all. What about those beautiful personalized Christmas cards with names imprinted? That can save you tons of time and effort, but still show you care.

Christmas is a beautiful time of the year. Yes, it’s hectic with everything one has to do to prepare for it. But when I sit down to write my cards it’s really the only time in the year that I get to think back on all the special people in my life and how thankful I am to them. And although I cannot afford to get everyone a gift, it is through my Christmas cards that I am able to express my gratitude individually. So yes, before I send out each card, I make sure every “t” is crossed and every “i” dotted, because they mean that much to me.

My Corporate Christmas Cards Victory

Every once in a while my boss will give me some odd jobs, for instance, last year she put me in charge of ordering some Christmas cards for the whole office. Of course I decided to push this off until the last minute. Thank goodness for The Gallery Collection, who certainly saved the day for me. Within a few days I was able to order corporate Christmas cards for the entire office. I wasn’t sure if I would be able to pull it off, but with The Gallery Collection’s helpful customer service representatives, ordering these custom Christmas cards was a breeze. And they turned out to be amazing.

Inside the Christmas cards we were able to include our own company’s logo and even hand written signatures. Although there was no big bonus in it for me, I marked this as a personal victory. I guess you can say my bonus is seeing my card hanging throughout the office on all of my co-workers’ desks.

And now, here we are again. The holiday season is right around the corner and I’m right on top of ordering some beautiful business Christmas cards. I think we may have a new holiday tradition around the office!

Business Christmas Cards are Perfect for the Holidays

I am an owner of a marina of five years now which is year round job. When I first took ownership of my new business I can recall writing all my business Christmas cards out by hand. As my clientele grew so did my time in being extremely involved in overseeing and organizing my day to day workforce. With over 400 customers plus my employees, sub-contractors, suppliers and then some, I couldn’t imagine writing all those Christmas cards out by hand.

As the holidays were nearing I just didn’t know how I would possibly get everything done with Thanksgiving around the corner. So, I decided to do a search online to see how I could simplify my hectic life and I found The Gallery Collection. They have such a large assortment of Christmas cards that if you can’t find what you’re looking for here, you’ll never find it.

As I was skimming over the site I noticed that there were corporate holiday cards as well, which made me think of my grandfather who owned an electrical corporation in Dallas, Texas. I called his secretary and told her about The Gallery Collection. Her reply to me was, “Oh we’ve been using them for years.” I should have known, especially considering how particular my grandfather can be with his choices!

Ordering Christmas Cards Can Be Fun And Rewarding

I love when it comes time to choose Christmas cards I really cannot want until the catalogs start pouring into the office. I realize this sounds nutty or as if I have nothing better to do, trust me, I have a very hectic schedule so the thought of losing myself in a Christmas card catalog is heavenly. I look forward to seeing the new designs that are introduced each year and wonder how the designers come up with them!  One of my responsibilities is to order the Christmas cards for the company but first I have to select a few designs, order samples and present them to our executive team. Although the task seems simple, there are many things to consider. I first get a budget and the number of cards to be ordered so when I present the selection to the team I will have all of my facts. There are several things that are constant year after year like quality and the sentiment on the front of the card. For us it is Season’s Greetings or Happy Holidays so one design can be sent to all of our clients.

This year I noticed many of the cards sold are made from 30% post consumer waste recycled paper which is a plus for our company. I wasn’t totally sure what 30% post consumer waste meant so I Googled it and according to Wikipedia:

Post-consumer waste is material discarded after consumer use, such as old corrugated containers (OCC), old magazines, old newspapers (ONP), office paper, old telephone directories, and residential mixed paper (RMP).

To think that the papers I recycle at home become recycled paper Christmas cards is pretty cool!

Business Christmas Cards That Work As Gifts

Last year was a tough year for my business.  You see, in the past I sent gifts to many of my clients in appreciation for their continued support.  However, 2011 wasn’t a great year therefore sending a small fruit basket or even a box of candy wasn’t in the budget.  My husband gave me a suggestion; he had received some beautiful sample business Christmas cards in the mail at his office and shared the catalog with me.  The cards were exceptional and with the discounts offered they were well within my budget.

Since I sent the cards last year I received numerous calls and comments from clients about the beautiful corporate holiday cards I sent. I have also done more business with my clients, which I believe was due in no small part to the cards they all received. Sending Christmas cards is a tradition that I intend on keeping for years to come.
