Business Birthday Cards that will Make the Birthday Person Feel like a Star

I enjoy reading funny, clever greeting cards when I have the time, like when I’m waiting for a prescription to be filled. It passes the time while amusing me. Once in awhile, I discover a card with the perfect wit for a particular friend. Sending this card to someone who knows me well, on a personal basis, may say to them, “Made you laugh!” But, make no mistake about this – I would not want to use these for my business birthday cards!

Having said that, I wouldn’t want you to think I believe that business birthday cards have to be stuffy and boring. Really, why bother sending birthday cards at all if they don’t have a celebratory “flavor” to them? However, business birthday cards shouldn’t make either sender or receiver seem like the brunt of a joke. Let me point out a couple of different birthday card designs that strike a happy medium in that regard.

Design #636AY, Golden Birthday Sparkle Greeting Card, reflects business-like clarity with personal warmth and sincerity. Especially nice as a business birthday card for males, it’s made of strong, rich ecru-colored paper stock. The crisp design leaves a generous unmarked margin of this wonderful matte finish material. A “Birthday” banner of embossed gold foil stands out like a theater marquee with lettering in rainbow shades of blue, teal, purple and magenta. The surrounding touches include a graceful sweep of stars in gold and rainbow foils. This design makes me think of a movie premiere where the birthday person is the star of the event!

Design #692AY, Cake and Candles! Birthday Card, also on creamy ecru card stock, deserves the exclamation point that’s part of its name because it is an exciting and truly happy design. This sweet confection features an embossed cake, centered on a slant, frosted in cheerful pastels and topped with five glowing candles. The words “Happy Birthday” in gold foil cursive dance at the sides of the cake, matching the curlicues of gold foil that trim the cake. A smattering of small pastel and gold foil stars at top left and bottom right create a harmonious balance in this charming design. Any businesswoman will feel like a star when receiving this beautiful business birthday card.

Make a Wish for a Birthday Blast with Business Birthday Cards

Looking for something a little different in your business birthday cards? You will find some very colorful designs this year at The Gallery Collection. Start with Birthday Blast Card, design #116AE. Here is a bright card with colors that pop! Lots of purple and blue, with the words “Happy Birthday” outlined in silver foil. The raised letters provide a nice contrast to the banners in the background and the large size of the lettering makes the message very clear. Colorful confetti falls through the design, as if there was a little explosion of fun. One of my customers said she picked this card because it really looked like fun and was a nice change from their previous birthday cards. Everyone who opens this card will say, “Wow! What a great card!”

This is one of our dark blue cards that has a bit more drama with colorful foil-accented candles on the front. We’ve had requests for another dark stock birthday card and here it is! The embossed candles really stand out. I especially like how each candle shimmers in the light with green, red or blue diagonal striping alternated with gold foil. Deliciously Soaring Business Birthday Cards

Soaring Happy Birthday, design 113AR, is one of the newest business birthday cards added to The Gallery Collection line. The card displays three floating – oops I mean soaring – balloons. The design was named Soaring Happy Birthday Card but in my opinion I would have named it Soaring Balloons. Why? Because the balloons are the main focal point of the card.

The multi colored “Happy Birthday” sentiment printed underneath the balloons is ok, but it’s the balloons that really grabbed my attention. My eyes were drawn right into the vibrant color of each, one orange, one blue, and one green. I saw different shapes and swirls in each individual color. The balloons took on a look of marble, or you know how you mix two rich colors of paint together to get a custom look…that’s what it reminds me of.

The three balloons seem to pop off the glossy white background of the card giving each one its own unique look. They are surrounded by golden flecks and sparkling stars that look like someone sprinkled gold star dust in the air and the gold dust is falling over each balloon. This certainly adds a nice touch to the birthday card design. I give this card a high rating on its overall look and wouldn’t hesitate to give it to anyone for their personal birthday.

As for design 091AY Birthday Delight Birthday Card, another new business birthday cards design, this cream colored card displays the yummiest looking cup cake spread with a hue of lavender icing. It’s then topped with pastel colored sprinkles and a soft pink star candle. The embossed cupcake is displayed in a watercolor purple and blue cupcake holder with ever so slightly darker purple and blue shadowed polka dots.

The “Happy Birthday” sentiment and tiny stars displayed on the card reflect bright foil colors of bronze, orange, fuchsia, and lemon lime. The cupcake, star, and the curled ribbon are all outlined in those same colors. I wanted to take a bite out of this deliciously fun looking cupcake. The birthday card, itself, would probably appeal more to females of all ages who would be delighted to receive this yummy treat.
