Greeting Card Companies That Fit Our Every Need

As the office manager at a software company, I am responsible for client relations. I am in charge of emails, phone calls, faxes, and, yes, our company greeting cards. For a while, I was searching out each card specifically, either at the local drugstore or online. The search took up so much of my time that my boss thought sending cards was becoming a waste of time. I then began the search for greeting card companies that carried all the cards we needed, and were business appropriate, too.

I had no idea what a gem I had stumbled on to when I first visited the Gallery Collection website. In the year or so since we began ordering from them, I have never had to look elsewhere for bulk greeting cards. We order all of our assorted greeting cards from them, and I am not wasting time looking for individual cards! The arrangement suits everyone, especially my boss. He loves the Gallery Collection cards, as they are exactly the right blend of cost and class that he favors.

We have ordered both the assortment boxes and bulk individual cards from the Gallery Collection, and all of their products have impressed us. Our favorite items are their Thank You cards. We send them out around our company anniversary to thank all of our customers for supporting us through another year. Also, we include a coupon for our anniversary month sale. That way, our customers can share in our special month.

Corporate Greeting Cards Make You Memorable

Technology has led to a very impersonal connection we have with one another.  Email, texting, facebook, twitter, even if you want to “hangout” these days it means you sit on your computer.  I guess at least then you can see another person.  The point is our world has changed from face to face, to on the phone, to “Did you get my text?” Because of this corporate greeting cards are becoming a lost art.  People don’t want to take the time and consideration to write out a personal greeting when they can save three minutes and send a text.  I think this is a huge mistake.

Think back to your last birthday.  I’m sure 20 people you don’t ever see said Happy Birthday on your facebook wall or sent you a meaningless text.  But how many of you can say you received an actual card?  My guess is not too many.  However, I bet those of you lucky enough to receive a card can tell me exactly who it was from.  This is why you should send business greeting cards.  It makes people remember you, it shows people you care, and it puts a personal touch in an otherwise impersonal world.

All Occasion Cards and My New Pet Store

Last year, I opened up a pet store in my neighborhood. I never did anything like this before; I’m really just a computer geek with a soft spot for animals. I woke up one day and something told me to just do it, so I did. It took a lot of time, effort and many sleepless nights but now I am proud to say, I am a pet store owner. As a pet store owner, I have become very close to my customers and feel like they are a part of my extended family. I would email them thank you, holiday and even pet birthday cards, but I felt that the e-cards were too impersonal. One day, I went on Google and looked for some card companies and I am glad that I found the Gallery Collection for my All Occasion cards.

I called them and ordered cards for my pet store. I chose assorted greeting cards to celebrate the pet stores one year anniversary, and to also have cards to thank my clients, and much more. I had some apprehension but the lady on the phone was so friendly, patient and helpful that I felt like I was standing right in front of her. She asked me what I was looking for, took it step by step and explained everything to me. I ordered cards for my employees and my customers as well. The cards were like a thank you for being a loyal customer. The lady on the phone completely understood what I was trying to do, and eased my apprehension by assuring me that the Gallery Collection would make it work. And it did!

Assorted Greeting Cards Make The Perfect Reminders

Sending assorted greeting cards for different occasions to clients, customers and business associates is a great way to advertise and keep your company on the minds of many throughout the year.

Most of my friends usually send me an email or call me on my birthday. At my age (which we will not disclose now that I became a Grandmother), we rarely get gifts. That day usually consists of many calls and a dinner somewhere during the weekend with the entire family. After the calls, the greetings are gone and there is nothing in the house to remind me of my birthday. So by receiving birthday cards in the mail from my doctor, dentist, and insurance company, I get to look at them every day with a smile on my face.

Not only do I get greeting cards for my birthday and Christmas, I also get All Occasion cards from businesses throughout the year. On July 4th my local town hall sent a card to wish everyone a happy holiday and to advertise the parade and fireworks. On Thanksgiving I received a greeting card from my local produce shop with a coupon inside. It’s great receiving these cards as they remind me to call for a doctor’s appointment or order my holiday dinner trimmings! Now that spring is in the air, I just received a card from the real estate agent I rented a house from last summer to remind me to book it again soon.

These are things I may not have remembered to do if I didn’t receive greeting cards from these businesses. What a great and inexpensive way to advertise, especially in today’s economy!

Corporate Greeting Cards For Everyone

When my Dad owned his construction business years ago he was a very considerate boss. Respect was a two way street at his office.  He always asked his assistant, my mom, to run to the card store for specialty cards.  His always had corporate greeting cards to fit every occasion.  He appreciated his employees so much that an anniversary, birthday or any other occasion never went by without him acknowledging that special day in the life of his workers. One day my mom forgot to send a card for a particular birthday to an employee.  This was a milestone birthday for this worker and it was important to my dad that he received his card on time. There weren’t any cards on hand in the office so he went himself to a store to pick out a card.

He came across the idea to order boxed greeting cards online. This way he would always have them on hand at the office.  This was a good fit for his thinking; he would always be ready with that perfect card to send for any occasion.  The companies’ business greeting cards tradition was a welcome practice by all the employees.  It gave them a sense of appreciation in more ways than one.

Business Greeting Cards Show You Really Care

I send business greeting cards to my customers to express my appreciation for their business and to my vendors for a job well done. I could easily send an email but I feel that is so impersonal. The email often gets overlooked, is usually only seen by one person and gets deleted with a push of one button. The business greeting cards I send can be displayed and enjoyed by many and they leave a lasting impression.

To me, sending an actual greeting card shows how much I care. I took the time from my busy schedule to handwrite a note, address an envelope, stamp the envelope and mail it. I know this puts a smile on the recipient’s face when they receive the thank you card. I know because I’ve been there. When I receive greeting cards I hang them on my work station so passers by can see them. Sending and receiving greeting cards promotes good will and I am more likely to use this vendor again or remember this particular customer for a long time. Inserting your business cards in the greeting cards is also a good idea because it keeps those valued vendors/customers at your fingertips. Sending business greeting cards is a small gesture that leaves a large, lasting impression.

Assorted Greeting Cards Can Do Wonders For Your Employees

All of us at one time or another in our lives have had the real joy of celebrating a special day, whether it is a birthday, anniversary, or a graduation.  During this celebration I’m sure we’ve all received lots of great gifts, and cards from our closest family members and friends.  But how many of us can say we’ve received this same sentiment from our employer?  Probably not many.

This is why sending your employees assorted greeting cards is so essential.  It lets them know how much you care.  It lets them know that they’re an individual who is important to your company, not just another random face punching a clock.  It makes them feel their work and loyalty is appreciated by their bosses and supervisors.  These greeting cards, given out without any fanfare but with a firm handshake and done unexpectedly, would be a tremendous morale booster, especially now when the economy is flagging and people’s minds may be distracted by negative economic news.

Lord knows how many people are worried about whether they may or may not keep their jobs or if they can pay their bills on time.  But receiving a small note of acknowledgement and appreciation from an authority figure can do wonders for an employee’s state of mind and productivity.

Corporate Greeting Cards Give Your Business A Personal Touch

Have you ever worked for a business that gave its employees corporate greeting cards? I have. I enjoyed receiving a special card on my birthday, filled with signatures of people I worked for. I loved opening up my Thanksgiving and holiday cards. It made me feel valued. Appreciated. I knew I was not just a number; I was someone they took pride in being able to call an employee. Because of that, I knew how important little things, such as greeting cards, meant for a successful business.

A few years ago, I decided to venture into the world of real estate. As many independent contractors and business owners know, it’s crucial to build a positive rapport with clients for referral business. While working with buyers and sellers, I made it a priority to get to know my clients. I kept a log of all their birthdays. I wrote down their “Home” Anniversary.  My list grew longer and longer, as did my need to send out greeting cards on a weekly basis! Thank You cards, holiday cards, employee anniversary cards; you name it— I send them out very often.

Referral business is important, but clients like to know they are working with genuine individuals. Because I take time out of my busy day to remember the people that helped me succeed, I’ve been able to continue doing what I love. However, it’s not just about the business itself; it’s about the relationships which simple gestures, such as business greeting cards, create. For all of this, I have to thank the company I once worked for. I’ve never forgotten how valued I felt from tearing an envelope to find a special greeting card waiting for me.

The Convenience of Having Assorted Greeting Cards Readily Available

Oh no ….. not again!  It was 7:00 o’clock in the morning as I woke up to see huge snowflakes falling from the sky.  We had just survived three snowstorms in my town and were now in the midst of a fourth.  As I looked out of my window to see how much snow had fallen I realized it was going to be another grueling “exercise” day for me.  Much as I like to exercise, snow removal in freezing weather is not my forte.  Although I marveled at the beauty of the on the branches of trees, and how it covered the rooftops of homes and walkways, this admiration was short lived and reality took over.  It was time to have a hearty breakfast, dress warmly and get ready to clear this white stuff off my car.   After 20 minutes of brushing the top and sides of my car, I was ready to shovel the 8 inches of accumulation surrounding it when I realized I loaned my shovel to a friend.  Much to my relief, a neighbor recognized my dilemma and came to my rescue with his shovel and muscle and had my car out of the snow, and, ready to go, in not time.  After returning to my apartment and warming up, I quickly grabbed a box of assorted greeting cards out of my desk, selected one that said thank you, wrote a message and slipped it under my kind neighbor’s door.

The Gallery Collection has a wide variety of cards to choose from in their greeting cards assortment boxes.  Each box contains holiday, birthday, congratulations, and thank you cards.  Even in the worst weather the assortment box will have you prepared without having to try and get to the store to let someone know you care.

Business Greeting Cards Can Enhance Your Reputation

A simple and inexpensive way to get noticed and remembered is to send business greeting cards to clients, patrons, customers, and patients. And don’t forget how useful they can be for co-workers and employees.

My company gives all of its employee’s really nice custom greeting cards for their birthday every year. This year they made them even more special by adding a note at the bottom of the card saying, “Bring to HR & receive two movie tickets.”

Alright, a trip to the Caribbean might have been more exciting, but a free evening at the movies was a thoughtful and unexpected gesture – especially with today’s economy – and it made each of us feel appreciated and valued. It’s nice to know that our employer continues to be interested in our having enjoyable lives outside of work.

This morning, I was telling my next door neighbor about my birthday card and movie tickets, and she very enthusiastically had to tell me about a special greeting card she had recently received. It was a thinking of you card from her surgeon, which arrived a few days after she returned home from the hospital. It said he appreciated her choosing him and reminded her that he and his staff are dedicated to her speedy recovery and are available to her any time.

The card was a welcome surprise, lifting her spirits and making her smile. She’s now his biggest fan and all her friends at the weekly Senior Citizens Club have all heard how remarkable he is. It’s enhanced his reputation and made his name more well-known. I’m sure he’ll be at the top of the list of any one of them needing surgery in the future.

Especially in today’s world of emails and tweets, sending business greeting cards can have a great impact and leave a lasting impression.
