Business Christmas Cards to Brighten Up The Season

I don’t know about you, but I love the Christmas season. There’s so much to celebrate, so much to anticipate, so much to enjoy. Of course it’s also a very hectic time of year that sometimes gets under our skin, but nonetheless, it is a great time of year. I love the look on my children’s faces as they open up their presents under the tree. I love counting down until the big day with all my employees at work. I love the feeling of making my yearly Christmas donation to our favorite local charity. I also love hearing my customers rave about how perfect, elegant and classy my business Christmas cards are every year. Every year I take pride in picking out a design I know my customers will love even more than the one they loved the year before. It’s a personal goal of mine to keep them in awe with the quality that our company is all about. And for a professional company, we need the best cards out there. The Gallery Collection is all that and more. And for the price they are truly a steal. I usually buy in bulk, so the cards end up being a great deal, especially considering the amazing quality of the cards themselves.

Joyous Wreath Holiday Card

This year, since things are going well for us and business is finally taking off again, we’ve decided to try Thanksgiving cards as well as Christmas cards. I’m sure our customers will be thrilled to receive their Thanksgiving cards in the mail and I’m anxious to hear what they think about them. We chose a lovely elegant design with leaves and gold foil on the front of the cards. Both of these holidays are excellent times to reach out to your customer base and let them know that you appreciate them, and furthermore, care about them and their family enough to extend some wishes and blessings. This is the season of sincerity; don’t leave room for people to speculate that you sincerely don’t care about them.

Create-A-Greeting-Card Scholarship Look Back Series – 2007 Winning Design

Welcome back to another installment of our Create-A-Greeting-Card Scholarship Contest Look Back Series. 2007 was the first year that we started running an annual scholarship contest and we weren’t exactly sure what to expect. Since we are constantly on the lookout for ways to give back, we thought this was an excellent way to help a student that tied in perfectly with our products. It was our goal to inspire the youth to recognize quality and beauty and to capture it, whether that be in the form of a simple digital photo or a finished piece of art from their art class or computer lab.

We were all nervous because we were not sure how it was going to turn out but in the end we were blown away by the response. We received over 15,000 entries in that first year! It caused us all to take a step back and really see that this was something that clearly needed to continue. In the end, Elizabeth Digre was selected as the winner for her beautiful entry depicting a stunning winter scene of a lake surrounded by snow covered trees and the sun shining through the branches.

After the entry was selected as the winner, our artists turned it into the stunning Season’s Greetings Golden Snowscape Card.

The card was stamped with gold refractive foil and enhanced with some embossing (raising some details of the image to give it a three dimensional effect). The gold foil was used to accentuate the snow covering the trees to really make the design pop. A frame was also added around the image to draw the attention to the beautiful winter scene. Once we saw the final product we knew that this contest was something that needed to continue.

Sympathy Cards – Thoughts That Can’t Be Erased

As my parents have grown older, so have their friends. It seems like my Mother was making many monthly trips to express her condolences at our nearby funeral home. The family who loses a loved one has so many arrangements to make within several days and life becomes surreal. The chaos of a funeral viewing and the verbal expression and sympathies coming from so many friends within a short time period erases the faces of those who came to remember. It’s so important to send sympathy cards to let the families of lost loved ones know you stopped by to pay your respects.

Sympathy Cards

Every so often, someone in the work place loses a family member, another reality of our lives. Business sympathy cards are a special way of providing continued comfort to a co-worker and their family. We may not know this person personally, but we become connected through the work place. Giving or receiving a sympathy card from a work acquaintance can build a special bond between friends in the office. Verbal expressions of sorrow are caring, but a sympathy card brings thoughts of compassion that can’t be erased. Your thoughtfulness will always remain with your family or friends.

Birthday Cards Offer A Way To Stay Connected To Employees

So many companies have gone global and/or allow so many employees to telecommute that it is often difficult to make everyone feel like they are all part of the same team. People work in different time zones and on very different schedules. Global companies also have different locations celebrating different holidays, so they can’t necessarily wish all of them a happy Thanksgiving on the last Thursday in November! An easy way to ensure you get to wish each and every one of your employees well during the year is to send them each a birthday card. Your employees will know the company is thinking of them and it will help them feel more connected to the company. Also, employees may even appreciate receiving  birthday cards even more than they would appreciate a holiday card, as the birthday card is to celebrate their own personal special day.

Happy Birthday To You

In order to make sure you never miss an employee’s birthday (or a friend or family member’s birthday either!), keeping a box of assorted birthday cards on hand at all times. That way, you will not only always be assured of having cards in stock and won’t have to run out to the card store every other day, but you will also have a varied selection of cards to choose from. Personally selecting a card from a box of assorted birthday cards for each employee makes it even more special, as they won’t all get the same card.

The Gallery Collection has a long standing history of making charitable donations to organizations that could benefit from greeting cards or holiday cards. One such organization we were very happy to make a donation to is the National Multiple Sclerosis Society – New Jersey Metro Chapter. Our donation of 500 Thank You cards will allow them to thank donors and supporters without the extra expenditure on their organization. And what a great organization it is!

Why Not Send Thanksgiving Cards?

Believe it or not, it’s September already! While most people are mourning that summer is over, I am thrilled that fall is right around the corner and the holidays are near. Many people are gearing up to send out Christmas cards this holiday season but I say why not be different and unique and send out Thanksgiving cards! With so many diverse designs to choose from at The Gallery Collection, sending out a Thanksgiving card to your clients & customers is a great way to show your appreciation.

Thanksgiving Cards

With Thanksgiving being my absolute favorite holiday, I love to send out cards to show my employees and clients that I am thinking about them during the holiday season. Receiving holiday greeting cards is such a warm and thoughtful gesture from a business. It really makes the holidays so much more meaningful.

Thanksgiving is a holiday when we give thanks for all the blessings in our lives and a time to reflect on the past year with our family, friends and loved ones. And more than ever during this time, sending out greetings cards such as Thanksgiving  shows your fellow employees and clients that you are grateful and thankful for them during this special time of the year!
